Chat Masala (indian Spice)
1 ts Cumin seed
1 ts Black peppercorns
1/2 ts Ajowan seed
1 ts Pomegranate seeds
1 ts Black salt
1 ts Coarse salt
1 pn Dried mint flakes; heavy pinch
1/4 ts Ground asafetida
2 ts Mango powder
1/2 ts Cayenne pepper; ground
1/2 ts Ground ginger
Grind the whole spices and salt to a powder, then mix in the mint, asafetida, mango powder, cayenne and ginger.
NOTES : The blend will keep for 3-4 months stored in an airtight container.
