Galia Melon In Port

1/2 c Port wine
2 tb Honey
1 lg Galia melon; peeled and cut in 1-inch chunks
1 Pomegranate


Warm wine and honey in microwave or over low heat on stove. Stir to mix. Place melon in serving bowl. Pour wine mixture over. Chill. Cut pomegranate in quarters; carefully remove seeds. Scatter seeds over melon. Serve cold or at room temperature.


Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
