Chinarcha Sharbat (rhubarb-pomegranate Refresher)
450 g Rhubarb; washed; trimmed, sliced - 1 lb
480 ml Water - 2 c
240 g Sugar - 1 c or to taste
480 ml Pomegranate juice - 2 c
60 ml Strained orange juice or rose syrup - 1/4 c
makes 1.5 L
Stew rhubarb with water and sugar for about 15 min. Strain juice; discard solids. Add juices and cool. Chill well and serve over ice.
