Cool Cantaloupe Shake
1 1/2 c Ripe cantaloupe melon cubes
1/2 c Skim milk
1/4 c Nonfat dry milk powder
1 tb Honey
In blender process: Until blended and smooth (see note). Pour into
chilled glasses, garnish with cantaloupe slices, if desired. Makes 2
Note: For super-thick shake, place in freezer 1 to 2 hours until
mixture is semi-frozen; then to drinking consistency with additional
skim milk, if necessary.
Prepare as for Cool Cantaloupe Shake, recipe above, substituting:
1-1/2 cups unsweentened pineapple juice instead of cantaloupe
add 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon.
Garnish with fresh or canned pineapple slices and fresh mint sprigs,
if desired. Makes 2 servings.
