24 Hour Fruit Salad
2 c. pineapple, diced
2 c. grapes
1/2 c. Maraschino cherries
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 lg. orange, cut
(Can use mandarin oranges). Mix gently and add following dressing. Cook on top of stove. 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 c. sugar 1/5 c. vinegar Stir while cooking until thickens. Cool and add 1/2 pint whipped cream. Fold into above fruit. This dressing is enough for twice the amount of fruit. Place in refrigerator for 24 hours.
