24 Hour Fruit Salad
2 c. white cherries
2 c. pineapple chunks
2 c. orange sections (mandarin)
2 c. miniature marshmallows
Juice from 1 lemon
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
2 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. light cream
Drain fruit and mix together with marshmallows, save bananas and add just before serving. SAUCE: Beat eggs until light, add sugar, light cream and lemon juice. Mix and cook over boiling water until smooth and thick. Cool. Fold in whipped cream. Pour over fruit and mix lightly. Chill 24 hours. Add bananas. Will serve 8 to 10 people.
