24 Hour Fruit Salad
4 egg yolks, beaten
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 c. milk
10 oz. miniature marshmallows
16 oz. can fruit cocktail, drained
16 oz. can pineapple, drained
1 c. sliced strawberries
1 sliced banana
1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Combine yolks, lemon juice and milk in top of double boiler. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened; cool. Combine marshmallows, fruit cocktail and pineapple with cooled, cooked mixture. Refrigerate overnight. Fold in strawberries, banana and whipped cream. Serves 12-15.
