Baked Fruit Compote
2 pkg. mixed dried fruits (use Manischewitz, has no apples)
1 can pineapple chunks (13 oz., drained)
1 can cherry pie filling
1/4 c. brandy
Pour boiling water over dried fruits (just enough to cover); let stand overnight and soak in water (liquid will become syrupy). Combine other ingredients with fruits and liquid; pour into lightly greased 13x9 pan or 2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with dinner. Serves 8 to 10.
