1 (14 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oleo or butter
4 slices bread
Open and drain pineapple. Break bread into bite sized pieces. Mix pineapple juice and sugar. Melt butter in 15 x 12 inch baking pan. Stir pineapple, bread and sugared juice in melted butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Can be served with Cool Whip or a sauce, or plain.
