1 pkg. reg. vanilla pudding
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. milk
1 lb. 4 oz. can crushed pineapple (juice & all)
Mix together pudding and sugar. Then add remaining ingredients. Cube 5 to 7 slices of bread. In 2 quart saucepan melt 3/4 stick butter, stir bread cubes into butter. Pour pudding mixture into 9"x13" baking dish and put bread cubes on top, pushing some down into mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes then at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
