Black Bottom Fruit and Nut Bars
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/4 c. margarine
4 c. slightly crushed corn flakes
1 c. golden or dark raisins
1 c. chopped red candied cherries
3/4 c. peanuts
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 pan. In a small saucepan melt the chocolate chips and margarine over low heat, stirring occasionally. Spread evenly over bottom of greased pan. Refrigerate until set. In large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients until well coated. Press firmly over the chocolate layer n pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 17-20 minutes or until edges begin to bubble or top is lightly browned. Cool. Refrigerate until set. Cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator.
