1 lg. can peaches
1 lg. can pineapple
1 lg. can pears
1 can mandarin oranges
1 jar maraschino cherries
Drain pears and oranges. Save juice for other use. Drain peaches and pineapple juices together. Add to it 1 cup of sugar, 1 stick cinnamon and 5 whole cloves. Boil for five minutes. Remove cinnamon stick and cloves. Mix 3 or 4 tbsp. cornstarch with a little water until smooth. Add to sauce and cook to thicken. Add a little powdered cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. Pour over fruit. May serve warm or cold.
