Coconut-date Balls

1 cut-up dates
1/2 c. (each) sugar, oleo
1 beaten egg


Mix; cook over low heat until thick; remove from stove and add 1/2 teaspoon orange flavoring or vanilla; pour over 2 cups Rice Krispies; cool to handle then make into balls. Roll in cut-up coconut; chill.
