Cooked Fruit

1 can (16 oz.) sliced peaches, drained
1 can (16 oz.) pear halves or slices drained and chopped
1 can (16 oz.) purple plums, drained and pitted
1 can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks, drained
1 jar (6 oz.) maraschino cherries, drained
2 or 3 bananas, sliced
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. margarine
1 can (16 oz.) applesauce


Arrange the first six ingredients in bottom of dish. Heat brown sugar, margarine and applesauce and spoon over fruit. Take 3 tablespoon brown sugar and one cup chopped pecans and sprinkle over and bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour. Delicious with baked ham.
