Date Balls

1 c.soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. ground nuts
1 c. dates, cut up sm.


Mix butter and sugar. Add vanilla and mix. Add flour and mix. Blend in nuts and dates. Roll teaspoons of dough into balls. Refrigerate balls for 1 hour. Bake for 20 minutes. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Roll again when balls have cooled.
