Date Balls

1 egg
1 c. sugar
12 oz. pkg. chopped dates
1/4 c. butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
Shredded coconut


Cook first four ingredients over low heat for 5 to 6 minutes. Stir constantly. Cool. Add cereal and nuts. Roll into small bowls. Roll in coconut.
