1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. vegetable shortening
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper. Peel the kiwis and slice them into thick slices and lay on baking sheet. Stick a toothpick or popsicle stick in each slice. In a small pan melt the chocolate chips and shortening until smooth. Dip the kiwi into the mixture and let the excess drip off. Place the kiwi in the refrigerator until the chocolate has set. Serve when ready.
