Pecan Date Squares

3/4 c Flour
1 t Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Dates -- chopped
1 1/2 c Pecans -- chopped
1 c Brown sugar
1 t Vanilla
3 Eggs -- slightly beaten

Preheat oven to 300. Combine dry ingredients and toss with dates. Stir in rest of ingredients and turn into greased 9 x 9 baking pan. Bake 1 hour. When completely cool, dust with confectioners' sugar.
