Absolutely Apricot Bread 3/4 c Water
2 c White bread flour
1 tb Dry milk
1 ts Salt
1 tb Butter
3 tb Apricot jam
1/2 c Dried apricots, chopped
1 ts Yeast, fast rise or machine - or - 3 ts Yeast, active dry
This is bread with the jam already inside! It's a coffee bread, a snack bread or the perfect after-school bread. The finely textured sweet bread also happens to be lovely, with the summery orange apricots floating in the golden loaf.
