Persimmon Pudding

1 1/2 c Sugar (short)
2 c Flour
1 qt Milk (short)
1 pt Persimmon pulp
2 Eggs
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Soda
1/2 ts Baking powder

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt.

Mix together pulp, sugar and soda. Add beaten eggs and milk. Add sifted dry ingredients.

Bake in a slow oven, 2 1/2 hours.
